| This Vinyl is graded NEAR MINT on my grading system. The Cover is graded EXCELLENT on my grading system. 4 1/2 Stars. There is an infinity of projects more worthwhile than yet another recording by Zaire's most-recorded name. But this is a fine performance with touches probably never heard from Rochereau before, along with such felicities as his new focus on solo rather than ensemble horns. It's excellent, except for the silly DJ and "live recording" conceit. All Music Guide | |
