Fred Astaire and Jane Powell sing and dance as brother and sisterSimple little 1950s romantic musical comedy. Jane Powell was only 21 but this was her 10th film. She plays the little sister of Fred Astaire who was 52. They are a brother/sister song and dance team that go to London to perform, and also find true love. The end of the movie is during a royal wedding taking place in London. The main reason to enjoy this film is the singing (passable) and dancing (superb) of Astaire and Powell. This is the movie where, by use of a rotating room with a fixed camera, Astaire does a routine where he starts on the floor, dances up a wall, dances on the ceiling, and back down the opposite wall, then reversing everything, because he is "in love."
